Rakke

Nordkalk has an office and a production plant with grinding and a lime kiln in Rakke, and a quarry in the nearby village of Karinu. Sales include limestone fillers, quicklime, lime fertilizers and feed material.

• Limestone has been quarried and burned in Rakke since the late 1800’s. Nordkalk was involved in the activities of the Estonian lime factory Rakke Lubjatehas as a part owner until 1998, when Nordkalk purchased the entire company.
